    Two women and a girl died on Saturday night in an accident along the St. Cuthbert’s Mission trail.

    Dead are: Athena Andrews, her mother Olive Andrews, and her daughter, Emma Andrews.

    The Indigenous community’s Toshao Alvoro Simon confirmed that the trio passed away in a Facebook post.

    They were traveling inside a motorcar that collided with another.

    Update:

    Police Headquarters reported that the accident occurred at about 18:30 hrs Saturday.

    It was noted that motor car #PXX 4949, owned and driven at the time by Josh Simon, of St Cuthbert’s Mission, and motor car #PAE 5140, driven by Fidell of St Cuthbert’s Mission were involved in the accident.

    According to available information, the motorcars were traveling in opposite directions along the trail when they collided with each other. The three females were pronounced dead at the scene while the others were taken to the Diamond Hospital so their wounds could be treated.
