Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) has extended their immense appreciation to ENet – Guyana’s leading provider of digital cable television, internet, information technology, and media services – for their continued partnership has raised the profile of youth and school basketball.

Chris Bowman, Co-Director of YBG, praised ENet’s unwavering support during the Titans Bowl finals held at the National Gymnasium on Sunday.

Bowman highlighted the significance of such collaborations in providing young athletes with opportunities to showcase their skills on a larger stage.

Lindon Henry, ENet’s Marketing Manager for Mobile, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for supporting basketball initiatives, particularly those aimed at fostering student-athlete development.

“We believe these activities foster teamwork, perseverance, and excellence both on and off the court,” Henry stated, underscoring ENet’s commitment to community and youth development.

Reflecting on his journey in the sport, Henry, who played basketball under Bowman’s mentorship, emphasized the tournament’s importance in offering a platform for young talents to shine.

He noted that such events are instrumental in shaping the future of these athletes, providing them with skills and experiences that extend beyond basketball.

The recent Titans Bowl finals showcased impressive talent and competitive spirit. In the girls’ Under-18 final, Kwakwani Secondary emerged victorious against President’s College with a close score of 19-15.

Meanwhile, in the boys’ final, Queen’s College narrowly edged out Kwakwani with a thrilling 49-46 victory.

The tertiary final saw Linden Technical Institute triumph over New Amsterdam Technical Institute, securing a decisive 43-30 win.
