Two boat operators charged with malicious damage to property 

Shamar Gibson, 21, and Fedel Gibson, 47, were charged on Thursday and granted bail of $100,000 each for malicious damage to property.

Police Headquarters reported that the men, both boat operators, committed the act on Aryan Gafoor, a 22-year-old boat operator.

The case was heard at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Tamieka Clarke, where the charge was read to the accused. They were not required to plea to the charge.

Bail was granted in the sum of $100,000 each, with conditions that Fedel report to the Aurora Police Station every last Friday of each month while Shamar will do the same at the Aurora Police Station.

The case was adjourned to February 13, 2025 for a report on legal advice obtained from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
