Police said Arjune was charged for unlawful wounding and abusive language committed on his wife, Selena Samaroo.

Samaroo was arraingned at the Wales Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Rhondel Weever  where he denied the charges.

As such, he was remanded to prison until February 26.

However, Police said due to the unavailability of a medical from Mohamed at the time, Arjune was only charged for the injuries inflicted on Samaroo.
