Sunil Mangru has been crowned the champion of the Cue Sport Association of Guyana’s (CSAG) and Fireball National Nine-Ball Pool Championship, following a gripping conclusion at Suraj Sports Bar on Saturday.

The tournament commenced in early April and was the largest Nine-Ball Pool competition ever held in Guyana, attracting a strong field of 64 players from various districts.

The final day, hosted at Suraj Sports Bar, featured intense quarter-final and semi-final matches and the eagerly anticipated final matches.

The event was widely hailed as a resounding success, showcasing high talent and professionalism.

Steven Persaud secured the runner-up spot

After fierce competition, Sunil Mangru emerged victorious, lifting the coveted trophy. Steven Persaud secured the runner-up spot, while Kevin Mangru and Kamil Husain finished in joint third.

Jerry Josie, Hakeem Ali, Mario Albert, and Saif Persaud were the players who reached fifth place.
