No bruises, no scratches, no struggle: Autopsy finds no trauma in Adriana Younge’s death

In the external examination of 11-year-old Adriana Younge, the forensic team found no visible injuries — only signs consistent with prolonged submersion in water.

Her clothing was intact and properly positioned. The skin was unmarred by scratches, bruises, or lacerations. On her right forearm, a brown imprint matched the “VIP” wristband she wore — formed from prolonged pressure and water immersion.

Wrinkled skin on her palms and soles — known as “washerwoman hands” — indicated she had been submerged for an extended period.

“There were no signs of a struggle,” the report clarified. In their view, the lack of trauma strongly supports a non-violent drowning.
