The Queensway Senior Inter-County Super 50 Cup final will be contested on Saturday, November 1, at the Joe Jagmohan Ground in Hampton Court, Essequibo Coast.

The final was initially set for October 26, but the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) confirmed the date change following consultations with tournament sponsors, Queensway Security Inc.

The clash will feature a rematch between table-toppers Demerara and the home side, Essequibo.

Demerara enters the final as the reigning champions and remains undefeated in the 2025 competition.

When the two sides met during the group stage, they secured a decisive 50-run victory over Essequibo.

The new date gives both teams additional time to fine-tune their preparations for the showpiece event.

However, Essequibo will rely heavily on the advantage of playing on their home turf as they seek redemption and win its first senior Inter-County 50-over title.

The GCB thanked the sponsors for their flexibility and encouraged all cricket enthusiasts to attend the finale to witness “some of Guyana’s top talent on display.”
