Ganja found at E/bo burial ground
Several parcels of suspected cannabis were found at the Queenstown Burial Ground, Essequibo Coast, on Saturday.
According to a Police report, Officers went to the location after receiving key information. While there, a search was conducted and four parcels wrapped in transparent plastic bags, concealed among bushes, containing leaves, seeds, and stems suspected to be cannabis, were unearthed.
The suspected narcotics were transported to the Anna Regina Police Station, where it was weighed and amounted to 248.6 grams. The cannabis was then lodged as investigations continue.
