Ganja found in Mahdia arcade

Several parcels of cannabis were found in the Mahdia arcade, Region Eight, on Tuesday.

Police Headquarters reported that ranks conducted searches in the surroundings of the Arcade, during which two black plastic bags and one small transparent plastic bag were found concealed in a drainage channel. The bags contained leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be cannabis.

The suspected narcotics were transported to the Mahdia Police Station, where they were weighed and amounted to 350 grams.

The items were processed and lodged as investigations continue.
