Unidentified man found dead in barrel at Le Repentir Cemetery
The decomposed body of a man was found inside a barrel on Christmas Day at Le Reprentir Cemetery, between Louisa Row and St. Stephen Street, Georgetown.
Police Headquarters, in a statement, said the man was of African descent, but he has not been positively identified yet.
The body was discovered after ranks responded to a 911 report and subsequently located the body inside a barrel within the cemetery. Investigators processed the scene, and the body was later removed by undertakers and taken to the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
Additionally, it was noted that CCTV cameras were observed within the vicinity and will be examined as part of the ongoing investigation.
