Police probing assault at Windsor Forest park 

Police Officers are investigating the recent robbery and assault of a 21-year-old man at Windsor Forest, West Coast Demerara.

In a release, it was noted that the man assaulted in the video shared widely on social media, reported the incident to ranks at the Leonora Police Station on Monday.

“The complainant reported that he was seated at the park when he was approached by three males, who assaulted him and attempted to relieve him of his cellular phone; however, no property was taken. The suspects then fled the area in a motor car,” Police said.

Investigations are ongoing.
