Police badge, vest and handcuffs found at Tapakuma residence

Police ranks in Regional Division No. 2 carried out an operation on Monday between 11:15 hrs and 11:45 hrs at a residence in Tapakuma, Essequibo Coast, as part of an ongoing investigation.

During the search, ranks discovered one black bulletproof vest, one pair of handcuffs, one pair of foot shackles, and a metal cap badge belonging to the Guyana Police Force.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested at the location and taken into police custody.

Investigations are continuing.
