Man found dead in city hotel

The lifeless body of a guest was discovered on Wednesday morning at the SleepIn Hotel on Church Street, Georgetown.

The dead man has been identified as Desai Pankaj Roy; he is believed to be a foreign national.

According to reports, an employee of the hotel made the discovery.

The incident was reported to the Guyana Police Force, and an investigation has since been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
