MUBA cosmetics named official beauty partner for Miss, Teen and Mrs. India Guyana

MUBA Cosmetics, an internationally recognised beauty brand with deep roots in the pageantry industry, has officially made its way to Guyana.
On Sunday, the Miss, Teen and Mrs. India Guyana franchise announced an exciting new partnership with MUBA Cosmetics. The collaboration marks the first time the brand will officially partner with the local pageant, bringing global beauty expertise to Guyana’s premier Indian cultural pageant.
Local makeup artist, Miguel Ram has worked with the brand at countless events and particularly for the international leg of the pageant. He is making a name for himself, crafting the faces of pageant contestants and models alike.

Director of the Miss, Teen and Mrs. India Guyana franchise, Melissa Ali-Pertab, said the partnership represents another major step forward for the organization.
“You’ve seen him behind the scenes crafting queens, now we’ve taken it to the next step,” Ali-Pertab said.
MUBA Cosmetics was founded by former Miss Universe Creative Director Andres Felipe Cabrera and has built a reputation for providing professional-grade, vegan and cruelty-free beauty products while supporting the development of makeup artists around the world. The brand’s origins are closely tied to the international pageant industry, having been created to meet the demands of contestants and beauty professionals on some of the world’s biggest stages.
Ram described the partnership as a significant achievement for both Guyana and the wider Caribbean beauty industry.
“Working for a brand that is so important and being the only brand in South America that has worked with so many platforms, Guyana can be the first one in the Caribbean countries to have it and work with it,” he said.
The makeup artist also used the opportunity to encourage aspiring beauty professionals to remain focused on their goals.
“For the artists out there, don’t ever stop dreaming,” Ram said.
Reflecting on his own journey, he said that he once imagined being part of a collaboration of this magnitude and is now proud to see that vision become reality.
Ram added that he hopes to build a team of makeup artists under the MUBA banner, creating opportunities for local talent to gain exposure and experience through the international brand.
