Paul to join West Indies squad for second Test against Sri Lanka


Guyanese all-rounder Keemo Paul has been added to the West Indies squad ahead of the second Test against Sri Lanka at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
In a brief statement on Tuesday, Cricket West Indies said the 28-year-old is expected to join the squad ahead of Wednesday’s training session as the West Indies finalise preparations for the second Test, which gets underway on Friday.
The last of Paul’s three Test matches came in February 2019, while he last played for West Indies in an ODI in July 2023.
West Indies lead the two-match series after a commanding innings and 217-run win in the first Test, which ended in four days at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
West Indies squad: Roston Chase (capt), Jomel Warrican, John Campbell, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Joshua Da Silva (wk), Justin Greaves, Kavem Hodge, Shai Hope, Amir Jangoo, Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, Brandon King, Anderson Phillip, Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales and Keemo Paul.
