Ganja worth $80 million, firearms seized


Cannabis worth about $80 million and five firearms were found during a search of a residence at Princess Street, Georgetown, on Wednesday.
According to a release from the Customs Anti Narcotic Unit (CANU), ranks went to the residence based on information received.
A total of 86 parcels of cannabis, weighing 98.32 pounds, were found. Four pistols and one rifle were also found.
CANU said several persons were arrested and are in custody assisting with investigations.
