SounDown 2026: Guyana’s premier music and arts festival returns bigger than ever

Following two massively successful editions, BPM Guyana has officially announced the return of the highly anticipated SounDown Music & Art Festival.
Slated for November 2026, the festival is gearing up to be the ultimate beachfront experience.
Set against the scenic backdrop of the Marriott Beachfront in Kingston, Georgetown, organisers are promising a significantly expanded production this year.
With an unprecedented investment, the organisers expect a premium audience of 4,000 to 6,000 patrons; the 2026 edition is on track to become Guyana’s biggest music and arts festival.
What to Expect: A Dual-Stage Experience
For the first time, SounDown will introduce a dual-stage format.
The festival grounds will feature:
- The Main & Second Stages: Showcasing a world-class lineup that blends international headliners with talks of major names alongside top-tier local DJs and emerging Guyanese talent.
- Arts & Craft District: A commercial creative hub featuring live painting, local designers, and curated crafts.
- Cultural Displays: Heritage showcases celebrating the six peoples and traditional Guyanese culture.

Championing Guyana’s Orange Economy
SounDown 2026 is designed as more than just a party; it is a vital engine for Guyana’s “Orange Economy.” Aligned with UNESCO’s “Creative Caribbean” initiative, the festival aims to transform artistic expression into measurable economic value.
The event will generate over 100 direct and indirect jobs and provide a direct sales runway for local micro and small businesses through its dedicated Vendor Village.
Tickets & Sponsorship
The hype is already building across the Caribbean and the diaspora. Presale tickets are already nearly sold out, signalling a massive surge in regional and international attendance.
Phase one e-tickets are currently available across multiple platforms, including:
- Eventbrite
- Ticket Gateway
- Potsalt
- GuyanaGo
The event is backed by major local brands, with logos for One Guyana, ENet, and GEMF prominently featured alongside BPM Guyana on the promotional material.
More artist announcements and festival details are expected to be released in the coming months. For those looking to secure their spot on the sand, acting quickly on the remaining tickets is highly recommended. (PRESS RELEASE)
