Indoors and outdoor dining at restaurants and bars can now operate at 60 per cent capacity, according to the new COVID-19 Emergency Measures published in the Official Gazette.

Previously, restaurants and bars were allowed to operate at 40 per cent capacity with the table spaced at least six feet apart.

In these updated guidelines, too, six people can now sit at the same table instead of four people as was previously allowed.

As stated in August’s COVID-19 guidelines, patrons- except for children- who attend these restaurants and bars must show their vaccination card and a form of identification. This means that they must have been vaccinated with at least one dose of a recognised COVID-19 vaccine.
