BREAKING NEWS: Major flooding feared as koker door collapses at Meten-Meer-Zorg
Residents of Meten-meer-zorg, West Coast Demerara fear major flooding after the koker door collapsed, causing water from the Atlantic Ocean to begin rushing in. Commander of the Division, Leslie James said that the situation is being monitored closely by the Police and the regional authority and it is expected to be brought under control soon.
He said residents can expect to experience some amount of flooding.
