Hours of operation by ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) on Friday, February 02, 2018, ended with the arrest of Collin Hopper of 49 Blue Sackie Drive, South Ruimveldt Park, Georgetown.
Agents conducted a search at the man’s house in South Ruimveldt where they retrieved 514 grammes of suspected cocaine, a CANU statement revealed on Saturday evening.
According to the statement, there were several traces of suspected cocaine residue discovered at various parts of the house as well as signs of the illegal substance being flushed down the toilet.
“Ranks were able to retrieve a small quantity of the suspected drug from the pipe leading to the septic tank,” the CANU statement noted.
