According to the results of a post-mortem examination conducted on Wednesday morning at the Georgetown Public Hospital, Constable Oswin Argyle died from pesticide poisoning.

Reports are that he ingested the poisonous substance on Monday and informed his colleagues at the Vigilance Police Station. He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he eventually succumbed.

On October 29, Argyle was involved in a horrific accident at Bee Hive, ECD that claimed the life of Keiolla Fortune-Thomas of Clonbrook, ECD, a passenger in his car, PWW 5851.
