Minibus conductor to stand High Court trial for rape of teen
A 24-year-old minibus conductor was on Thursday committed to stand trial at High Court for allegedly raping an 18-year-old girl in 2016.
Dorian Fredericks of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown was on trial before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isccas-Marcus at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court where the matter was held in camera.
The alleged rape took place during the month of October 2016.
The Magistrate on Thursday found that a sufficient case was made out against Fredericks for him tried before a Judge and Jury.
