Police have issued a wanted bulletin for a 32-year-old former member of the Guyana Police Force, in connection with the murder of Kurt Anthony Duncan who was shot and killed at Seeta’s Bar, Station Street, Kitty Georgetown.
Keon David whose last known address is Sophia, Greater Georgetown is wanted for questioning in relation to the incident which occurred at around 02:07hrs on Monday.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of David is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 226-1389, 226-7476, 226-7065, 226-6221, 227-2603, 227-1611, 227-1149, 227-1270, 225-6940 to 9, 225-3650, 226-1928, 911 or the nearest police station.
The police have noted that all information will be treated with the strictest confidence.
The News Room reported that Duncan, a father of six, reportedly tried to intervene in a scuffle between a man and a woman when he was fatally shot by the suspect who was sitting nearby.
His family is calling for justice.
