Suspect arrested in Reg. 1 murder
Dead: Oswald Henry
Police have arrested 20-year-old Callis Rodridgues for the murder of Oswald Henry which occurred at around 21:00hrs at Kumaka, Region One on Saturday.
According to the Police, Henry called “Muff” and Rodrigues were imbibing alcohol at Kumaka Water front, North West District, when an argument erupted.
Police said it is uncertain what the argument was about but the suspect armed himself with a piece of wood and dealt Henry several lashes to the head.
As a result, Henry collapsed in an unconscious state; he was taken to the Kumaka District Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body is presently at the mortuary awaiting an autopsy.
