The second victim in Tuesday evening’s deadly accident has been identified as Senior Superintendent Brian Eastman.

Eastman of Norton Street, Wortmanville, was reportedly a passenger in the black SUV PTT 6775 which crashed into the fence of Yokohoma Trading at Liliendaal, Greater Georgetown.

The driver, Dillon DeRamos –a father of two who owned the popular Kosmos bar and grill at MovieTowne – also died in the horrific accident.

The two men are said to be close friends since their school days at President’s College.

Hours prior to his death, Eastman’s 99-year-old grandmother passed away.

The vehicle is damaged beyond repair as a result of the accident.

It is believed that the businessman died instantly while public-spirited persons desperately tried to remove Eastman who was trapped inside the wrecked SUV.

Details surrounding the accident are still unclear and Police Headquarters are yet to issue an official statement.
