Two persons were arrested Wednesday night and have reportedly confessed to murdering a 24-year-old man of Ice House Road, Timehri, East Bank Demerara.
Lawrence Raymond Benjamin was stabbed to death on April 5 at Timehri, East Bank Demerara. The young father of one was covered in a pool of blood in a white plastic chair under a shed in the community in the vicinity of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
According to Police information, the suspects who also reside at Timehri were arrested following collaborative efforts among three divisions of the Guyana Police Force.
An investigation is ongoing.
