67 COVID-19 cases, three persons in ICU

As of April 21, Guyana confirmed one new case of the new Coronavirus bringing the total number of cases to 67 while the number of persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has reduced to three.

On Monday, there were five persons in the ICU.

The Ministry of Public Health announced Tuesday that 348 persons have tested for the disease of which 281 results were negative.

There are 51 persons in institutional isolation and 17 persons in institutional quarantine.

The Ministry said the number of deaths remain at seven.
