Two bandits who robbed Marketing Executive Jennifer Cipriani on Monday last were caught on camera on the Agricola, East Bank Demerara Public Road.
Cipriani shared the footage on her social media page Wednesday night in the hopes that the bandits will be recognized and brought to justice.
Police are still on the hunt for the duo.
In the CCTV footage the two bandits are seen crossing the road and waiting behind the car for over three minutes before attacking Cipriani at knifepoint.
Cipriani had told the News Room she had stopped to see her parents in Agricola after delivering a hamper on the West Bank of Demerara.
The footage shows when she goes outside to retrieve empty bottles from her car one of the two bandits attacked her, cuting her purse from her shoulder and grabbing her phone while the other kept watch.
She was robbed of a Samsung J7 pro, her bank card, ID card, driver’s license and approximately $20,000 cash. The two bandits ran off after committing the act.
A report was made to the Agricola Police Outpost.
Cipriani said she has since been able to retrieve her ID card, bank cards and loyalty cards.
