Director of Sport Christopher Jones has been fired with immediate effect.
The News Room understands that Jones actually had his contract renewed at the end of March, weeks after the elections when it was clear the Coalition had lost.
The News Room has learnt that Jones was sent his letter of dismissal Monday morning by Charles Ramson Jr., the newly appointed Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport.
Jones managed much of the Coalition’s elections campaign and engaged in a highly publicized verbal confrontation with then Opposition leader Bharrat Jagdeo outside of the Ashmin’s building in Georgetown when it was cleared that the vote tabulation was being doctored.
Jones was later a leading voice for the Coalition in trying to defend the electoral fraud intended to keep APNU+AFC in office.
Don’t worry about C. Jones……..the Lampy and Pampy show is being sought after as a sequel to Dumb and Dumber.
What on earth does he expect? You cannot sign a contract after you lost an election…..you cannot sign a contract after you won an election either, at least until the election is over? Who signed for the Government as no Ministers existed?

Please publicize this mans salary and perks that he received since the Contract was signed in March. That money belongs to the taxpayers as all he did for the last few months is support the rigging crew.

Good that he was kicked out. He was a shameless supporter of rigged elections.
Since I don’t see an edit button let me strikeout my comment above and just say good that he was kicked out. He didn’t have the integrity to resign so the boot was warranted.
As for the rigged elections- we know all who played a role in it and we know what their roles were.
