Another COVID-19 death takes total to 90

The Ministry of Health on Sunday night reported the third COVID-19 death for the day pushing the total death toll to 90.
The latest fatality is a 53-year-old male from Region 8 who died while receiving care at a medical facility. Earlier on Sunday the Ministry reported two COVID-19 deaths; the victims are two males from Baramita and Port Kaituma in Region One, both aged 56. The Ministry said they both also died while receiving medical care.
The latest deaths represent the fifth COVID-19 death for the weekend and the eight for the month.
The two other deaths were recorded on Saturday – a 68-year-old male from Bartica, Region Seven and a 74-year-old woman from Region Four. These patients also died while receiving medical care.
