The Guyana Police Force on Friday issued a wanted bulletin for Brazilian national, 32-year-old Marcio Magalhaes Santos, in relation to the murder of an unidentified Amerindian man and attempted murder on Vivian Lacruz which occurred on November 03, 2020.
The incident occurred at Balamani Backdam, Cuyuni River during a drinking spree. Police Headqaurters had reported that the victim, Lacruz and Santos were at a shop at Balamani Landing imbibing, when an argument erupted between them, during which, the suspect drew a knife and dealt the victim and Vivian multiple stabs about their bodies and ran away.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Marcio Magalhaes Santos is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 777-5007, 777-4007, 911 or the nearest police station. His listed addresses are Boa Vista Brazil and Balamani Backdam.
Meanwhile, a wanted bulletin was also issued for Jermaine Encomo Richmond of Lot 34 Third Street, Alberttown, Georgetown. Police said Richmond is wanted in relation to Conspiracy to Defraud the State of Guyana between March 01, 2017 and March 31, 2020.
