The Kashif and Shanghai Organisation, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and the Guyana Football Federation have teamed up to pull of the year-end showpiece, which will be played at the National Stadium, Providence.

The tournament is the first to played locally in nine months, a hiatus brought on by the presence of the coronavirus in Guyana.

On Tuesday (December 29, 2020), the action will kick off at 17:00h with Linden All Stars playing East Coast All Stars, followed by Georgetown All Stars battling West Side All Stars three hours later.

The two winning teams will clash in the final on January 1, 2021.

Because of the COVID-19 restrictions, the tournament would be played behind closed doors, while the final would be carried live on NCN Channel 11, E-Networks and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport’s Facebook page.

Notably, all players had to undergo a COVID-19 test and produce a negative result to participate in the tournament.
