The Guyana Police Force has issued a wanted bulletin for 29-year-old Rondell Richardson in connection with the murder of Jomal Adams, 29, who was stabbed to death during an argument over a cell phone at Back Circle, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown on Saturday.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Rondell Richardson is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 227-2603, 226-6978, 226-6221, 219-3252, 227-1149, 225-8196, 268-2328, 268-2298/2222, 226-7065, 911 or the nearest police station.
According to a police report, Adams of Cooper Street, East La Penitence, died at around 15:20hrs.
An eyewitness told the police that the suspect and Adams were arguing over a cell phone when the suspect stabbed Adams to the chest with an unknown object. Adams then ran but the suspect gave chase and stabbed him in the back with a pair of scissors.
Adams collapsed and the suspect dropped a piece of a black object as he escaped. The eyewitness went to help Adams when he saw a part of the scissors stuck in his back.
Adams was taken to Georgetown Public Hospital and went into surgery immediately. He subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
