Castrol strikers pulled off the upset of the century after defeating eagles Volleyball Club in three straight sets at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall as action in the Demerara Volleyball Association league continue on Friday
They dominated Eagles in the first set by a margin of 25-19 and continued with their aggression to win the second set 25-23.
In the third, they came back from a seven-point deficit to win 25-22.
Strikers were led by Vance Harding (15 points), Omari Joseph ( six points), and Devon Bowman (six points).
The League continues Tuesday, with Strikers battling Young Achievers from 19:00h.
