Volleyball players will be in action on Sunday (November 21st) with the staging of a one-day tournament at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue, Georgetown.
The Demerara Volleyball Association (DVA) is staging the four-team Senior competition under the theme, ‘Taking volleyball to higher heights in Demerara.’
The tournament will serve off at 09:00h.
Battling for top honours would be Eagles Volleyball Club, Young Achievers Volleyball Club, Castrol Strikers and Bartica Warriors Volleyball Club.
This event follows closely on the heels of the inaugural Power Zone championship organised by North Nation Inc. in late October.
That event was won by Port Mourant Training Centre.
