The Guyana Police Force has issued a wanted bulletin for Navindra Ramsammy in connection with several high-powered rifles that were discovered at Blackwater Backdam in Region Seven (Cuyuni- Mazaruni) on Saturday.
Ramsammy of First Avenue, Bartica is also wanted for break and enter and larceny.

Meanwhile, Police Headquarters had reported that based on information received, police ranks went to a mining camp at about 15:00hrs on Saturday and discovered the weapons – a Rickover 5.56 MM Rifle, a Benelli ARMI Rifle, a three gauge Magnum Shotgun, an FN Rifle and 37 .223 rounds of ammunition.
Police said upon their arrival at the camp, Ramsammy managed to escape.
The police reported that the owner of the camp said Ramsammy visited the camp on Friday night with the firearms and told the owner he needed money. He then buried the firearms at three different locations and slept the night.
The camp owner directed the ranks to where the firearms were buried.
