Hours after a man was found dead along the La Penitence Public Road, Police on Tuesday issued a wanted bulletin for Alex Nedd in connection with the crime.
The Police said Nedd, 30, also of La Penitence Public Road is wanted for questioning.
Anyone with information can contact the nearest police station.
The dead man was identified as Rodwell Philips, also called Fishie, a 33-year-old mason of Broad Street, Charlestown, Georgetown.
Police Headquarters reported that a cutlass was found next to the man’s body.
The incident occurred sometime between 00:30 hrs and 01:00 hrs on Monday.
Several chop wounds were identified all over the man’s body.
Police said it was visible at the centre of his chest, to the right side of his face, at his left side back and to his left foot.
The body was pronounced dead at the scene and was escorted to the Memorial Gardens funeral home, pending an autopsy.
Meanwhile, it was reported that several persons were reportedly questioned in the area. Officers are expected to review CCTV footage.
