A chance at title retention is on the cards for the girls of East Ruimveldt Secondary after they stormed into the final of the ExxonMobil Boys and Girls Under-14 School Football Tournament.
East Ruimveldt topped New Campbellville 4-0, led by a hat-trick from Azaria Wilson (7th, 21st, 30th) and Antwana Williams (39th) and are now one win away from retaining the title.
They face Charlestown Secondary at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue, on Saturday.
Charlestown needled New Central High 1-0 with Aquenna Griffith making the difference in the 48th minute.
In the other placement match for the girls, Tucville defeated Ann’s Grove 2-0 with goals from Shania Waldron (4th) and Allgera Williams (30th).
