Guyana recorded 11 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, taking the total number of confirmed cases since March 2020, to 71, 379.
Region Four recorded 10 news cases and Region Nine recorded one case.
There is one patient in institutional isolation and 61 patients are in home isolation.
To date, 70, 036 people have recovered and 1, 281 have died from the dreaded virus.
