Seishonen Guyana is an entertainment business from Guyana whose aim is to build community and boost creativity amongst youth through events. Since the beginning of 2022, we’ve thrown several events to increase commerce and entertainment in safe spaces to encourage youth to pursue and profit from their passions.
Most notably, Seishonen Guyana has embarked on a brand new venture in throwing Guyana’s Largest Annual Anime & Comic Convention titled “FumaCon”. This convention will be held on November 27th, 2022 at the Guyana Marriott Hotel from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. There will be 50+ exhibitors, a live painting, a book launch, competitions, giveaways and live performances at this event.
To deepen our ties in the creative arts industry, Seishonen has collaborated with Watchroom Technologies Inc – a US based tech company. Watchroom is a community platform based on voice where people come to discuss anime and react to the latest episodes. The developers behind Watchroom are young award-winning and Emmy-nominated founders with backgrounds in tech, entertainment, and video and animation-based innovation. The company is partnering with brands like Fuma Con to provide its platform to strengthen the anime community worldwide.
This collaboration will enable Guyanese youth to utilize the branded FumaCon x Watchroom server for free to discuss their creativity and passion for anime, art, music, pop culture etc. Collaborations like this are essential to fostering international relations which will help amplify Guyanese culture and commerce to the wider world.
