The two pre-teen cousins reported missing earlier on Wednesday were found in Eccles, East Coast Demerara.
The girls, 11-year-old Sabreen Singh and 12-year-old Natoya Tina Boodhoo reportedly went missing on Tuesday while playing along Trench Road, Albouystown.
A relative told the News Room that after the girls’ photos were shared on social media, a resident in Eccles contacted the family and said she saw them at a house in the community.
According to the relative, the girls were allegedly picked up by a taxi driver and taken to Eccles.
The girls are being taken to the hospital for necessary examinations.
