Guyana’s Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) competitor, Carlston Harris, will be back in the octagon with a clash against American Ramiz Brahimaj on February 18 in Las Vegas.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Harris stated, “I am proud to announce that I just signed the contract for my next fight, more details later. I am looking forward to all the support.”
Harris, who is based in Brazil, suffered a first-round defeat at the hands of Shavkat Rakhmonov of Kazakhstan during his last match in Las Vegas.
The Guyanese came into the contest with much hype after an impressive start to his UFC career with two consecutive first-round wins.
However, he suffered a brutal blow in the opening round as Rakhmonov extended his unbeaten record.
