A total of 30 people were infected with the novel coronavirus based on information provided by the Ministry of Health over the last 24 hours.
These new cases take the total number of confirmed cases to 72, 720.
Meanwhile, there are nine people in institutional isolation and 341 patients in home isolation.
To date, 1,293 people have died from COVID-19 in Guyana, while 71,077 have recovered.
