Berbice Under-19 defeated Demerara Under-19 by nine wickets within two days of their Three-Day Inter-County match at the Everest Cricket Club on Wednesday after a fiery spell from Isai Thorne.

The pacer bagged 7-33 from 10 overs to bundle Demerara for 101 in their second innings which left a chase of 105 for Berbice.

They achieved the target seamlessly compliments of Rampertab Ramnauth (53*), Hemendra Gurdayal (28), and Zeynul Ramsammy (24*).
