Dundas appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Chief Magistrate (ag) Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus to answer to the three charges, all of which he denied.

It is alleged that on May 09, at Stevedore Housing Scheme, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown, Dundas used a computer system to transmit electronic data that intimidated a woman (name withheld).

The court heard that it was in an effort to compel the woman to engage in activities that she is not legally bound to do.

It is also alleged that on the same day, threatened to publish electronic data containing personal or private information of the woman, which can cause her public ridicule, contempt, hatred or embarrassment.

It is further alleged also that Dundas intentionally and without lawful excuse or justification, acquired a nude photograph and a nude video of the woman.

The prosecutor objected to bail, citing the seriousness and the prevalence of cybercrime cases and the fact that the defendant had several other nude images of other women in his personal phone.

Bail was refused.

Dundas is expected to make his next court appearance on August 14 for statements.
