Wanted bulletin issued for suspect in deadly West Ruimveldt shooting
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) is seeking the public’s assistance to capture one of the suspects involved in the shooting that claimed the life of Dexter Horsham, a 43-year-old construction worker.
A wanted bulletin was issued by the Police on Friday for Majesty Anthony Fernandes; the incident occurred at Lot 430 West Ruimveldt, Georgetown at around 16:50 hrs on Thursday.
The 33-year-old man’s last known address is Lot 1690 National Avenue South Reuimveldt, Georgetown.

On Thursday, Police Headquarters revealed that Ezekiel Subhan, a 25-year-old Private of the Guyana Defence Force, was at home with his 23-year-old reputed wife when he heard someone knocking on the door.
As a result, Subhan went out to the front door and spoke to a man at the door who told him that he needs to leave the house. The GDF Private refused to leave when six men confronted him.
An argument ensued and a large crowd gathered, which included Horsham, during which one of the six men fired shots into the crowd, killing Horsham and injuring another man, identified as Corwyne Abraham, a 38-year-old taxi driver from Charlestown.
The gunman and other suspects fled the scene.
