‘Poke Eye’ arrested for murder of ‘50 Cent’

The suspect Terrence Sam has turned himself in over the alleged murder of Eric Fraser

A security guard is in Police custody assisting with investigation in relation to the murder of a 42-year-old Eric Fraser, called ‘50 Cent’, who was stabbed on Thursday night at Haslington North, East Coast Demerara.

Police Headquarters reported that that Terrence Sam, 51, also known as ‘Poke Eye’ of Haslington, turned himself in at the Brickdam Police Station on Saturday.

It was reported that Fraser was at a barbershop in the area with his friends when he got into an argument with another man who Police said used an “unknown weapon” to stab him to his groin.

Fraser then ran about 200 feet and collapsed.

The Police release on Saturday noted that it was an old grievance that the men were arguing over which led to the suspect taking a knife and stabbing Fraser.
