According to the Caribbean Premier League organizers, “Keemo Paul will be unavailable for at least three days due to an injury he sustained in the match against Trinbago Knight Riders on Saturday night.
Shamar Joseph will temporarily replace him in the Amazon Warriors squad.”
Joseph is a 24-year-old fast-bowler who debuted in the Four-Day Championship for the Guyana Harpy Eagles this year.
He took nine wickets in three matches with a best of 5-41.
Last year, the young father made the courageous sacrifice of quitting his job with a security firm to focus on pursuing his ultimate goal, playing for Guyana and being able to take care of his family in the future.
Amazon Warriors face Barbados Royals this evening from 19:00h, then play TKR again on Wednesday for a spot in the final.
