TSU ranks urged to pursue higher education; commended for their punctuality

In keeping with the Standing Order of the Guyana Police Force, Officer-in-Charge of the Tactical Services Unit, Superintendent Brian Lowenfield, this morning (Thursday 19th October 2023) between 07:00hrs and 08:17hrs conducted his monthly Inspection for Appearance & Conduct with ranks from the Tactical Services Unit (TSU).

Ranks fully dressed in their uniforms assembled at the Guyana Police Force’s Tactical Services Unit Drill Square, Eve Leary Police Headquarters, and were inspected by the Officer-in-Charge Mr Lowenfield.

The Officer-in-charge conveyed gratitude to the ranks and complimented them for their turnout. The ranks were also encouraged to maintain their excellent work, show consideration to the general public, and always act professionally in and out of uniform.

He also spoke extensively on Punctuality, Discipline, and Absenteeism. Along that line, Lowenfield noted that the Force must serve the nation.

Ranks fully dressed in their uniforms assembled at the Guyana Police Force’s Tactical Services Unit Drill Square, Eve Leary Police Headquarters, and were inspected by the Officer-in-Charge Mr Lowenfield.

Further, he urged the ranks to pursue higher academics, which would boost their overall performance and the Guyana Police Force at large.

Apart from that, the ranks were briefed on the following topics:

-Maintaining a good working relationship

-Punctuality

-Paying attention to current affairs

-Maintaining discipline

-The importance of following the forces SOP’s

-Upcoming events/activities

-Maintaining comradery amongst themselves

-Standing Order 12

-Maintaining a healthy lifestyle

Before closing, the ranks raised a few concerns, all of which were seemingly addressed by the Officer-in-Charge. Lastly, those in attendance were reminded that every day should be treated as muster and inspection.
