Team CAMS coming strong for ENet Caribbean Clash of Champions

Team CAMS (Caribbean American Motor Sports) has assembled a nine-man roster to compete in the highly anticipated ENet Caribbean Clash of Champions on November 5 at the South Dakota Circuit.

Dubbed the ‘Greatest Race of All time’, the season-ending race meet promises to be a thriller, and Team CAMS drivers are leaving no stones unturned in their quest to have a strong presence on race day.

“Feel the adrenaline surge as we bring back the iconic Team CAMS in a spectacular comeback, geared up to dominate the tracks like never before,” Team CAMS said in a press release.

“This year, Team CAMS returns with a roster of daring and charismatic drivers, each equipped with unique and edge-of-your-seat racing styles. Be prepared to witness the fusion of raw power, skill and unwavering determination as they blaze through the tracks.”

Determined to stamp their authority on the event, Team CAMS will have four drivers in the much-vaunted Group Four category.

Lenny Samaroo and Mark Samaroo, both with a Mazda Miata, will compete in Group Four, alongside Mohan ‘Suzuki’ Rangasammy in his RX7 and Neil Persaud in his Honda Civic.

They will be up against the likes of Caribbean motor-racing legends Mark Vieira, Andrew King, Kevin Jeffrey and Vishok Persaud of Guyana, Doug ‘Hollywood’ Gore of Jamaica, Mark Maloney of Barbados, Franklin Boodram of Trinidad and Tobago.

Neil Persaud will also compete in Groups Two and Three, and will be joined in these races by teammates Kemal Rahman (Honda CRX), Sunil Nauth (Honda Civic), Terry Rodrigues (Honda Civic), Aaron Bethune (Honda Civic) and Afraz Allie (Toyota Starlet).

Allie will also line up in the Group Three grid.

Races get underway at 11:00h on November 5, with rivalry in Group 4, Group 3, Group 2, Starlet Cup, Sports Tuner, Street Tuner and Superstock and Supersport bikes.

Pre-sale tickets are available at G$3,000 (adults) and G$1,000 (children).
